Zoe: Amfilissos Centre and Laboratory for re-vitalising Villages

This Amfilissos Area Development Project, coordinated by Stamatis Skoutas and Patrick Humphreys, aims to create Zoe - The Amfilissos Centre for re-vitalising People, Villages, Culture and Society at a site above Neochori.

Zoe will comprise a multi-purpose building which can serve as a meeting place and club for members of the Amfilissos Network and SMEs in the CADIC cluster for Ecological and Technological Development and their guests, a Flexible learning Environment, a Spritivity Centre and an interactive showcase for local projects, initiatives, and enterprises. It will have multimedia production and world wide virtual collaboration facilities via its own www2 portal. It will provide a comprehensive portal to support eco-residencies

Clustered around
Zoe will be a series of "boat houses", - small houses and studios, which use state of the art technology, developed for use in boats, which will ensure the they are self-sufficient in all their needs for electricity, ventilation and heating. These houses will be available for short long term rent. Priority will be given to eco-residencies and people engaged in revitalizing or creative work in the Amfilissos Area.
