In the inter-personal relationships involved in these online meetings, both people involved play reciprocal Aman Cara roles: these reciprocal roles are ""seeker" and "provider". They may alternate the reciprocal roles at any time when they discuss together, seeking and providing positive affirmation and developing a feeling of safety with each other.

 
People paired as Anam Caras should not establish any boundaries whatsoever between each other at any time (so long as they continue to be Anam Caras for each other) as complete openness to and for each other is a key aspect of the inter-anam cara relationship.
 
All accredited Anam Cara mentors should observe and implement the Code of Conduct taught within Anam Cara Mentor Counselling Voyage One course Class 5 (which has to be attended successfully in order for a mentor to gain Happiness is Love Accreditation). This Code of Conduct addresses:
 
•       Why boundaries matter in Anam Cara Counselling.
•       Confidentiality: sharing and keeping secrets,
•       Respect for autonomy and diversity.
•       Know your responsibilities and limits:
•       Safeguarding and building trust securely.
 
 The Youth Partners in this project each take the safeguarding lead for the mentees that they sponsor and manage new mentee signups and mentor-mentee matching processes in liaison with the Happiness is Love Community of Practice for their locality.
 
Happiness is love will maintain a central facility providing support tools for use by the accredited Anam Cara Mentors and mentees participating this pilot project. These include:
 
(i) Multi -user tools and shared facilities for creation and editing of audio-visual stories about new Anam Cara contexts, and for uploading to a repository at Happiness is Loves (Anam Cara Context story archive), from where they can be accessed and distributed via the internet. Happiness is Love will employ the following software development tools for this purpose:
 
(ii) Maintenance and enhancements of the Anam Cara Provenance Creator and Anam Cara Provenance Explorer Apps. (under licence to Happiness is Love from Patrick Humphreys: at the London Multimedia Lab:the originator of these Apps)
