Founded on PROV-O, the Aman Cara of Provenance Creator App enables us to establish and explore the provenance Chain for an entity a time-ordered sequence of the complete set of Activity records (Transactions and Voyages) involving a specific entity (Context). In a similar way, we can establish and explore the Provenance Chain for any Agent (individual or Community of Practice)
Entity-provenance, Activity-Provence and Agent-provenance chains interact at every transaction in their establishment. Thus, we can trace and explore, in any way one wishes, provenance threads (paths through the provenance terrain), involving both persons (agents) and objects (entities) of interest to us. Within this Provenance Tapestry, these threads are woven together to make the complete provenance net representation (Yang et al., 2018) to form the core structure that underpins the investigation, validation and establishment of historical provenance within the Provenance Creator App described in section 4 below.
 
This Anam Cara platform enables us to establish and explore the historical provenance of an entity involved in any particular transaction of interest This constitutes the provenance chain for that entity. In a similar way, we can establish and explore the historical provenance chain for any agent, acting in Provider and/or seeker roles, from the most recent transaction in which they played a role, right back to their earliest transaction recorded with the aid of the Anam Cara Provenance Creator App.
Moreover, these entity-provenance and agent-provenance chains interact at each transaction involved in their establishment. Thus, provenance explorers can trace, in any way they wish, provenance threads (paths through the provenance terrain) involving agents and activities(entities) of interest to us. "Provenance Tapestry” refers to the structure within the Provenance Creator App’s MariaDB database where these links are assembled into “provenance threads” that are woven together (intersecting at transaction nodes) to make the complete provenance net representation that underpins the investigation, validation and establishment of  provenance: thus authenticating the information about “what actually happened” In this way we improve our understanding of the provenance of the agents, entitles and activities that were the focus of our search explorations.
